The season changes, the moon cycles, and still we walk our dogs at dusk, still we light a candle before meals, still we stitch our lives into this changing tapestry with the routines and rituals that we uphold. If I were to lose all else, I hope that I could hold on to a thread of gratitude to keep it all from unraveling.
Early evening walk after work to clear our heads. We passed two weddings on the beach and numerous couples walking hand in hand. We had a comfortable awareness of the other people enjoying their individual stories while we walked in our own cocoon created by the mist diffused light and the sound of the waves.
Sunday evening, just before the moon ripened to full, I married my beloved on our property , surrounded by loved ones. We had a potluck wedding and our whole community chipped in to make it happen. It was magical and amazing and I am filled with gratitude.
My daily draw incorporates Tarot, Runes, Lenormand, and blessing charms, as I am trying to absorb a better understanding of all of them through consistent practice. I love when all of the different systems reflect and support each other’s messages.
Spirit, what message do you have for the world today to help us manifest our highest good?
Tarot + Lenormand combination.
Last Friday, a package was delivered to my house. It wasn’t our usual delivery man. As I took the box, I realized that I didn’t know the name of the driver who normally drops off our online purchases, so I couldn’t easily ask about his well being. I am generally so focused on receiving my stuff, that I only make superficial talk with the delivery person. This got me thinking about my values. Isn’t the human interaction with a person who cheerfully delivers packages to my door more important than the material stuff that I’ve ordered? Why is it so difficult for me to ask their name and about their lives?
I’ve really been enjoying @lisaloveslenormand YouTube channel. (I highly recommend her book too) in one episode, she shows how easy it is to create your own Lenormand deck using playing cards. I find this deck that I created surprisingly easy to read. It is helping me learn which playing cards match each Lenormand card as well.
A new 4x4 tile design fresh out of the kiln. I love the deer on the island where I live. They have such Grace.
Heading off the island where I live to pick up clay for our pottery studio. Traveling with dogs and Tarot deck! We caught a super early boat so my daily draw is on the truck’s arm rest. I am practicing carrying my home alter with me everywhere in my imagination so that I can tap into it wherever I am.
As of today, I am officially certified as a Tarot reader by Biddy Tarot. I am so grateful for what I’ve learned through the Biddy Tarot program and the wonderful people that I met. 💕🙏💕
Early morning walk. There is something about a path through the woods that beckons me. I also love the visual. Whenever I see a solitary path or walkway through nature, I see a soul's journey.
Tarot in bed. Trying a spread by @3am.tarot that @violet.clove.tarot shared on their feed. I've added Lenormand clarifier cards.
After I pulled my morning card, I walked into the adjoining room. I hadn't gone more than two steps when I heard something fall. Looking down, these six cards were on the floor in front of me, facedown. I picked them up, went back to my alter, shuffled them, and this is the message. This is the wildest jumper card experience that I've had so far.
