My daily draw incorporates Tarot, Runes, Lenormand, and blessing charms, as I am trying to absorb a better understanding of all of them through consistent practice. I love when all of the different systems reflect and support each other’s messages. ...

Last Friday, a package was delivered to my house. It wasn’t our usual delivery man. As I took the box, I realized that I didn’t know the name of the driver who normally drops off our online purchases, so I couldn’t easily ask about his well being. I am generally so focused on receiving my stuff, that I only make superficial talk with the delivery person. This got me thinking about my values. Isn’t the human interaction with a person who cheerfully delivers packages to my door more important than the material stuff that I’ve ordered? Why is it so difficult for me to ask their name and about their lives? ...

I’ve really been enjoying @lisaloveslenormand YouTube channel. (I highly recommend her book too) in one episode, she shows how easy it is to create your own Lenormand deck using playing cards. I find this deck that I created surprisingly easy to read. It is helping me learn which playing cards match each Lenormand card as well. ...

Early morning walk. There is something about a path through the woods that beckons me. I also love the visual. Whenever I see a solitary path or walkway through nature, I see a soul's journey. ...

After I pulled my morning card, I walked into the adjoining room. I hadn't gone more than two steps when I heard something fall. Looking down, these six cards were on the floor in front of me, facedown. I picked them up, went back to my alter, shuffled them, and this is the message. This is the wildest jumper card experience that I've had so far. ...

Morning cards for guidance. ...

I confess that I am one of those people who can put off reconciling their bank statements for months. And it’s something that I need to finish catching up on this week. In a moment of procrastination I pulled cards to ask spirit what I should be focusing on today, and here we have it: the queen of swords is looking with all her intellect into the past at where money has been spent - or has flowed in (into) the public. The message couldn’t be any clearer. Time to hit the books. ...

I made these fish candlestick holders. I’m excited about this idea. I learned a lot from this first attempt. 😊 ...

Some days are so busy, I don’t pull a daily card until night, in bed. I’m doing my best to stay with this daily practice, even if I’m not giving it the time and attention right now that I’d like. My understanding builds on itself incrementally, and just showing up maintains my momentum. ...

What a beautiful, enchanting deck! The Lunar Nomad Oracle is based on the Lenormand with some extra cards added in. It adds magic and permission to intuit to the cut and dry Lenormand meanings. I’m looking forward to exploring with it. ...

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family early, to beat the rain. Outdoor dining, each household six feet from the other. Eating outside to lantern light was intimate and heartwarming. The guests are now gone. As the dishwasher hums and the turkey carcass boils on the stove, I am full of good food and gratitude. ...
