NINE OF CUPS REVERSED – Tarot
THE ANCHOR – Lenormand

In the Nine of Cups, the figure, dressed modestly and sitting on a plain bench, proudly displays his cups. They are his riches, and he feels full of satisfaction and bounty.

The message today is a reminder that the emotional connections that we have with the people around us can help to ground us and give us a stable, steadfast platform. The love we share with others is a greater treasure than any coin, and a true life’s goal and achievement.

Today, reach out to friends and family. If you are alone somewhere, go out where you can be around people and exchange a smile. Do an act of kindness. Shine your cups today.

JUDGEMENT REVERSED – Tarot
THE BIRDS- Lenormand

Fear of slander is keeping us from committing to our inner calling. The birds here could represent gossip.

The birds might also represent our flock, either family by blood or by Spirit. This might be an encouragement to share the doubts and the internal “call to action” that we are experiencing.

The message today is to find a place where you feel safe talking, a person you trust or a social media group where you feel at home, and share about this trumpet call that Spirit sounds in your subconscious, share your fears and doubts. You are not alone.

ACE OF WANDS REVERSED – Tarot
THE BOUQUET- Lenormand

Wands are the suit of fire, representing our deepest instincts and the creative sparks, drive, and passions that spring forth from them.

The Bouquet symbolizes appreciation, beauty, gift, happiness, pleasure, surprise, charm.

Each time a creative spark or idea is born in us, an infant of our deep instinctual currents, it shines like the brightest of gifts to Spirit. If you feel something stirring in you that need expressing, nurture it. Don’t turn away. It is a flower waiting to bloom.

FOUR OF SWORDS – Tarot
THE CROSSROADS- Lenormand

The Crossroads can represent the duality between concept and material manifestation, between our physical needs and spiritual needs. It speaks of choices and alternative paths.

In the Four of Swords, the figure is presented on a sarcophagus. They have completely shut down their physical and material urges so that they can focus entirely on their beliefs, using their intellect to dissect their prejudices – about the world and themselves. This card tells us to stop all physical activity, rest, and commune with ourselves, listen to our hearts, and to the Divine.

Our message is to be aware that we tread a layered road as we traverse our daily activities. Our feet propel us through the material world, while our hearts and minds touch an alternative path – the path towards our highest good. We should please take a moment today to focus entirely on our spiritual path so as not to lose sight of its thread.

ACE OF CUPS – Tarot
THE CLOUD- Lenormand

On days where difficulties cross our paths like the shadows of clouds flying above, it is all the more important to be aware of that source of creativity, intuition, empathy, and love that wells up from our source. The outpouring of Spirit is not slowed by darkness and helps light the most difficult days.

Take a moment today to center, breathe, and reconnect to the Divine.

SEVEN OF WANDS REVERSED – Tarot
THE BIRDS- Lenormand

The Birds means conversation, even therapy. Sometimes it means siblings.

Sometimes when we are choosing a path or passion that does not follow the status quo, we have to defend our choices. Often, we are conflicted inside ourselves about whether we are on the right track. We might continuously argue with ourselves about our decisions.

Our message today is to resist keeping this turmoil bottled up inside us. Find someone we trust, and talk it out. Talking with a sibling, a friend, or a therapist, will get the noise in our heads out, and make sense of it. Today, reach out and share your dreams with someone that you trust.

TWO OF WANDS – Tarot
THE STORK- Lenormand

Today, I notice the intertwined rose and lily decorating the parapet that the figure in the Two of Wands stands on. These represent the balance of thought and desire. The Stork represents new beginnings, transformations, and change.

The figure stares out at the horizon, meditating on how to manifest the idea, the creative spark that has come to them. There is a seed generated by instincts, unfurling inside of them, wanting expression. The Storks represent a transformation taking place inside the figure. This new idea, desire, passion is linked to inner awakening and birth.

The message today is to get those planners and journals out, to allow time for meditation or prayer, and to focus on how you can assist the evolution happening inside your Spirit. Balance your thoughts with your desires and align your intentions with actions.

In their right hand, the figure holds a globe. Be cognizant that we are all connected, and every action that we take, no matter how small, will impact our shared energies. Whether your idea spans the world in its outreach or is contained in a single breath that you exhale, if the intention aligns with your higher good, it is worthy of manifestation.

EIGHT OF WANDS – Tarot
THE RING – Lenormand

If we have been working on consensus building, cooperation, a long term partnership, this is a message of encouragement that our efforts are lining up and gaining momentum.

This message could also be telling us that today is a good day to start building consensus, cooperation, community, and partnerships. We should be lining up our goals towards an outcome of inclusiveness and unity and not divisiveness.

STRENGTH REVERSED – Tarot
THE MOUNTAIN – Lenormand

A mountain casts shadows. This obstacle that faces us today, I believe, has to do with the shortness of the winter days and the limited daylight.

When the hours of darkness stretch forever, sometimes, our inner strength and confidence can falter. Be mindful that the inner glow that can sustain us the winter months might be faltering for some.

Cast the warm energy of kindness and attention on the people around you, to re-ignite their courage.

THE CHARIOT – Tarot
THE MOUNTAIN – Lenormand

The Chariot represents self-discipline and determination to move one’s goals forward despite obstacles. The two sphynx in front of the Chariot symbolize opposing energies that need harnessing to pull together. We may need to balance our needs and our wants, our masculine and feminine sides, the instinct to nurture with the urge to delegate, or aligning our material goals with our spiritual goals.

The driver of the Chariot does not hold any reigns. He moves forward with will-power alone. The stars on the canopy and his crown symbolize that his connection to the divine fuels his resolve.

The Mountain is a reminder that we WILL encounter obstacles and challenges on our journey. We may be the source of the roadblocks or the world around us might be placing barriers before us. In either case, tapping into the Divine will help us determine whether to drive over or around the obstacles and will give us the strength to do so.
