This is the same pair of cards that I drew on the 24th, so there must be more to this message than what I wrote then.

The ACE OF SWORDS can represent new ideas, new actions, a new truth. Swords being the suit of air and communication, this could be a new way to communicate for us, or deciding to act on a new truth or idea.

THE GARDEN Lenormand card represents a social situation, a gathering, networking. It can also literally mean a garden or outdoor gathering place.

Perhaps our message today is to speak out or take action, engaging other people. For example, today might be the perfect day to offer live Tarot readings at a local gathering place.

Maybe it is time to communicate on a forum or social media platform that you are involved with and share your insights and ideas.

I think Spirit is encouraging us to walk our talk – or speak our thoughts. If the path to our higher calling has been like a nebulous dream or wish in our private thoughts, today might be an excellent day to outwardly step upon it.

The FISH Lenormand card can represent adaptability, fluidity – like a school of fish or stream of water.

Today’s message is encouraging us to be more adaptable in our interchanges with people whose opinions we disagree with. We should let go of the need to win every argument or to prove our point. Instead, flow around the ideas that repel us from each other, to find common interests and concerns.

In today’s divisive world, these cards ask us to search out the many streams that bring us together and to strengthen those, rather than stopping our communication at the barriers that define our differences.

Sometimes it is hard to let go of things that we have experienced, words exchanged, decisions made.

We can beat ourselves up, arguing, reliving the moments of conflict inside our heads and hearts. Poking at what we wish we’d done differently, or at the emotional bruise, worrying at it like a loose tooth.

This constant snarl of regrets can eat at us, feed anxiety, slowly erode our health, our sense of well being, and our relationships with the people around us.

Our message today is to breathe deeply. Inhale all the good of Spirit and exhale all of our regrets. We can learn from them without clinging to them. Carry with us the wisdom gained, and leave the regrets and grudges behind. One buoys our journey, the other impedes it.

This pair of cards talks about our relationship with the concept of beauty. Often we tie our self-worth up with how attractive we perceive ourselves to be. We can obsess with our appearance to such an extent all of our attention is focused on fixing it. Or we can feel unworthy of a task because we don’t look the part.

External beauty can be so subjective. Ideals change from one decade to the next. It is our culture that dictates these beauty marks, not Spirit. Spirit, I feel, wants us to be kind to ourselves and to others, and to focus on the highest good of our soul, not our face or belly.

Time defeats youthful appearance no matter how perfect the visage, and it is our words and deeds that have worth.

Our message today is to let go of physical concepts of beauty and focus, instead, on how much we can open our hearts. Don’t let an obsession with flesh keep you from shining your light.
