I am doing a daily Tarot draw asking Spirit, what message do you have for the world today to guide us towards our highest good?

Message to the World
April 29th, 2020 (19 The Sun, 10 The Wheel of Fortune, 01 The Magician)
THE DEVIL – Tarot
THE STORKS + THE HEART + THE LETTER (receiving news of a fresh start, a love letter) – Lenormand

Several things come to mind when I see these cards together. The first is the saying that “there is no such thing as a geographical cure.” When we start over, in a new location, or in a relationship, if we still cling to our chains, whatever they might be, we are bound to find ourselves eventually back in the situation that we wanted to leave behind.

The second thing that comes to mind is the feeling of being chained, imprisoned in our homes, with this quarantine. However, how our being stuck inside is giving nature a fresh start. We hear news every day of cleaner air, cleaner water, a healing of the earth as a result of our immobility.

The third thing that came to mind is if you receive notice that it is okay to bust free of your homes and start fresh, the coast is clear, think first about who is giving you that message, and where their priorities are. Are they an entity who has your health and highest good in their hearts? Or are they protecting their golden chains, power, and the cogs of consumerism?

Message to the World
April 12th, 2020 (11 Justice, 2 The High Priestess)
TWO OF PENTACLES REVERSED – Tarot
THE SUN + THE HEART + THE MOON – Lenormand

What beautiful Lenormand cards today.
Love and Happiness, Creative Passion, Emotional Positivity

Today’s numerological cards are Justice and The High Priestess. These, paired with the Two of Pentacles, resonate as balance.

With the Two of Pentacles reversed, things are probably feeling out of balance today. Many of us are out of work, or have reduced hours, or, if we are working, we might be in risky, high-adrenaline situations. Financial worries prevail, as does anxiety for the well being of our community. We may be lucky enough to be sheltering in place with loved ones, but there are many, still, that we can’t gather with.

Today, my emotions are rolling through me in surges, much like the waves that threaten to swamp those boats. One moment, I’m happy because I was able to Zoom with my family; the next, I’m filled with grief because I want to hold them, and smell them, and feel their warmth. One moment, I’m content, because the sun is shining, the plants are growing, the day has a quality of stillness brought on by the Easter holiday. The next, that stillness fills with anxiety, that I want to push away with projects and busywork.

In the two of pentacles reversed, the figure has their back to those beautiful Lenormand cards.

I think Spirit’s message is to tap into the Divine today. We can find succor from our turmoil by allowing that golden and white light to fill us up, and renew us. Just as we might ache to be able to hold and nurture our loved ones, Spirit would like to embrace us, to bathe us in love, in light, to see us engaged in our creative passions. To restore an inner positivity as a balance to our heartaches. Let us turn towards Spirit today, in prayer, or meditation, or through the flame of a candle. Let’s turn our troubles over to the Divine so that we can focus, however briefly, on our joy.

Message to the World
April 9th, 2020
Draw 1
ACE OF WANDS REVERSED – Tarot
THE DOG + THE ANCHOR + THE WHIP – Lenormand

If we are struggling to manifest our creative ideas, projects, and ambitions because of long term struggles with addiction or hardship,
today is a good day to find a coach or mentor. Even talking to a steadfast friend might help. These cards strongly suggest the benefit of working with someone outside yourself to help you gain traction.

Draw 2
THE HERMIT – Tarot
THE HEART + THE WHIP + THE ANCHOR – Lenormand

With the Hermit as the primary card, I see the Lenormand clarifiers as referring to how hard it is to love ourselves, to view ourselves honestly, and accept what we see with kindness. It takes a consistent effort of self-evaluation and shadow work to heal and learn to forgive our blemishes and push ourselves towards our highest good. This effort will be life long, but so so rewarding. Shine Spirit’s light inside ourselves and gather all of our fragments and facets up in love.

I am doing a daily Tarot draw asking Spirit, what message do you have for the world today, what guidance, to help us manifest our highest good?

Today, I called out to ALL of our spirit guides, ancestors, and guardian angels, and the messages coming in were so individual that I ended up pulling three sets of cards. Maybe one of them will resonate with you.

First Draw:
Message to the World
April 1st, 2020
THE PAGE OF WANDS – Tarot
The Clover + The Home + The Lady – Lenormand clarifiers

MESSAGE 1:
In this draw, I am interpreting THE LADY as representing something domestic. (It can also be our feminine side, ourselves if we identify as female or a significant woman in our lives). The Clover stands for good fortune, luck, and The House for our household and homes.

This first message shouts out to all of us who are starting to feel like being shut in is a stroke of good fortune. Our forced inaction is allowing us to rekindle domestic interests, or igniting new ideas for home-based projects. Spirit today encourages us in these pursuits, whatever they might be. It could be doing things together with our families, exploring new domestic talents like cooking, sewing, redecorating, or maybe launching podcasts and live streaming videos from our homes on topics that interest us. Good for us!

Second Draw:
Message to the World
April 1st, 2020
THE FIVE OF SWORDS REVERSED – Tarot
The Whip + The Ring + The Heart – Lenormand clarifiers

MESSAGE 2:
In this draw, I am interpreting The Whip Lenormand as representing “beating ourselves up about something,” The Ring as promises, and the Heart is our loved ones or something that we love to do.

The second message is to STOP beating ourselves up if today’s events are keeping us from fulfilling promises that we’ve made to loved ones, or to ourselves about interests that are dear to us.

We know best how to push our own buttons, and when we don’t fulfill promises that might be sacred to us or measure up to personal ideals, we come down harder on ourselves than others might. Especially when we are isolated, or scared, or feel powerless, it’s easy to self-sabotage.

Maybe we are unable to visit elderly family members who are in assisted living facilities despite vowing long ago that we would always be there for them. Perhaps we can’t take our children on the vacation that we promised them, or, even, had to cancel our wedding.

All fitness classes and facilities are closed, and maybe we just don’t have the space to continue at home, despite our best intentions.

Whatever it might be, this message is to forgive ourselves for these circumstances that are beyond our control. Stop wasting energy self-flagellating for things we can’t do anything about, and turn our focus on what we can do, instead.

Third Draw:
Message to the World
April 1st, 2020
THE NINE OF CUPS – Tarot
The Bear + The House + The Dog – Lenormand

MESSAGE 3
In the Nine of Cups, I always see all of those chalices up on the pedestal behind the figure as representing the man’s loved ones and emotional connections. He sits proudly in front of the display, saying, “These are my riches.” You will notice, too, that he is keeping an acceptable social distance from them. His arms are crossed in front of him. He is not touching, hugging, or breathing on them.

The Bear can represent protection. The House Lenormand, our household, our close friends and family. The Dog Lenormand, trustworthiness, loyalty.

This third message is to keep up the excellent work! Our shelter-in-place is helping to protect the people that we hold dear.

I am doing a daily Tarot draw asking Spirit, what message do you have for the world today, what guidance, to help us manifest our highest good?

Messages to the World
March 30th, 2020

I randomly drew the first set of cards without shuffling first and then thought I’d better try again, and shuffle them before pulling from the decks. So I have two messages for us today.

1st Draw:
KNIGHT OF SWORDS – Tarot
THE SUN + THE SERPENT + THE CROSSROADS + THE SHIP – Lenormand

The Knight of Swords is urging us (from the safety of our self-isolation) to rush the word out. Shout out our truth to the world. What truth? The Lenormand cards are specific. Spread the information that the Sun (coming to light, revealing) has exposed about The Serpent (the poison, the lies).

As the aggressive spread and fatality rates of COVID19 increase, it is so crucial to get the facts out to our communities so that they are armed with accurate information when faced with decisions (The Crossroads) about leaving their homes and/or traveling (The Ship).

2nd Draw:
ACE OF WANDS – Tarot
THE MICE + THE HEART + THE FISH – Lenormand

In the second message, I see that we are anxious (The Mice) about the finances (The Fish) of our loved ones (The Heart), or about money in general. The Ace of Wands is encouraging us to come up with new solutions, pursue new ideas on how to generate streams of income that are rooted in activities that we love, in our passions.

This message could also be encouraging us to brainstorm new and innovative ways to supplement the incomes of those that we hold dear.

SIX OF CUPS – Tarot
THE COFFIN+ THE HEART + THE WHIP – Lenormand

The Coffin: death/transition/endings
The Heart: people, passions, what we love
The Whip: debate, arguments, sweeping out, repetitive and vigorous activities

Cups are the suit of water and represent emotions, intuition, empathy. The Six of Cups is often seen as symbolizing our childhood memories and nostalgia.

To me, the Six of Cups also represents the joy of sharing beauty, miracles, nature. Two children, dressed for cold weather, are surrounded by cups of blooming, fragrant flowers – blossoming despite the season. The girl has joyfully passed her cup to a taller youth who is inhaling the fragrance before handing it back. It is about giving, sharing an experience, without any expectation of monetary rewards.

Today’s message, I feel, addresses both of these meanings. In the background of government debates about how to curtail, or whether to restrict this pandemic, we are going to start seeing people that we love fall ill, and even die. Those individuals who are the cornerstones of our childhood memories may be the most vulnerable to this virus.

The Whip illustrates both the arguments that are happening around actions to take and the vigilance that we need to adopt and practice consistently, to protect ourselves and our community.

The Six of Cups references our childhood but also asks us to share miracles and moments of beauty today, and in the days to come. Give gestures and words of kindness, encourage, and share what uplifts you. Give without asking for anything in return.

Today, we need to counter-balance negativity through positive intentions. Also, reach out to those individuals from your childhood who give structure to your memories. Let them know that you are thinking of them and reminisce with them about those moments that make you nostalgic. Who knows, a heartfelt connection might boost their immune system.

THE STAR – Tarot
THE BEAR + THE HEART – Lenormand

I just read in a forum thread on Biddy Tarot the words of a wise member who said, “The Star follows the upheaval of the Tower where we are laid bare and struck down to our lowest point. It is from this point that we have nothing but hope and trust in the Universe left to turn to, and it is often from this perspective that we truly open to the guidance the Universe has to offer. ”

The Bear Lenormand in this reading stands for Protection and the Heart Lenormand for love. Spirit watches us, guards us, cherishes us.

I’ve come to realize that Spirit answers all questions that I direct at it, from myself and from the people I’m doing readings for. No matter is too trivial for an answer. Spirit cares about each and every one of us and about all of our foibles.

Today’s message is a reminder that Spirit watches over us with love at all times. And when we find ourselves on the far side of a “Tower Moment,” Spirit is there to offer us unconditional love and guidance.

SEVEN OF SWORDS REVERSED – Tarot
THE HEART – Lenormand

The message today is to strategize to make time for the people and activities that we love.

The reversed Seven of Swords is asking us to organize our internal resources, as opposed to our external. This pair of cards has to do with us and how we delegate our energy.

Spirit reminds us to be smart organizers, and make sure that every day we feed our hearts by focusing our intention on the people, pets, and activities that nourish it.

THE KNIGHT OF CUPS- Tarot
THE HEART – Lenormand

Cups are the suit of water, emotions, and intuition. The heart represents love.

These two cards are so beautiful together. This message from Spirit could not be more clear.

The message today is to be kind. The world needs our love, let us try to filter our actions and words through affection, acceptance, tolerance, and compassion.
